Joey took photos at our wedding in September 2014. She captured all the magic that our day included.  Joey was discreet, professional and very friendly, all our guests agreed with that.  However, what we really loved was the realness of Joey’s images and how they told the full story of our special day – we will treasure these pictures forever.

Joey has a natural gift as a photographer, her style is non-intrusive, plus being enthusiastic for our precious day. Each time we look at the photographs we relive the day and all the precious moments she captured. Joey had some amazing suggestions and ideas. We have a few pictures from our special day that Joey captured framed at home.

Newborns & Little People

I met Joey through a friend and originally asked her to take some photos of my first baby when she was very young. The photos she took captured something special in my daughter. These photos now reside in pride of place on my living room wall for everyone to see. Joey has since taken photos of my second daughter when she was first born and my wife and I treasure these images.

When I decided to set up my own business, I again wanted Joey to be the one that would capture what my business is about. I would highly recommend Joey, she is personable, professional and I have every intention on working with her in the future.

We had Joey over to take pictures of our 3 year old daughter and 2 month old son, and she did a fantastic job with the two of them. Our daughter can be a bit shy with strangers and often takes quite some time to warm up and talk to anybody she doesn’t know. However, Joey was just great with her, taking her time, showing and explaining the camera to her and getting her really interested. With this great introduction she warmed up to her and then the whole photoshoot was really lots of fun for her and for all of us. We got very nice images in black and white and colour – absolutely beautiful. She captured both of them with very natural and lovely expressions. Maternity

I wanted to capture some pictures of my twin bump and Joey created the most gorgeous images that we will treasure forever. She made me and my initially reluctant partner feel really relaxed and we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience with a few laughs thrown in!  I couldn’t believe how natural the pictures looked and the way she captured the light and backdrop of Sandymount strand – such talent. Its lovely to work with someone who really enjoys what they do, and I look forward to having Joey capture more special moments for us when the twins are born with some family portraits in our home.

Family Events

We recently had a family celebration where we used Joey Dunne’s photography services. Joey took a number of photos, both formal (where she somehow managed to get the whole family to smile & look in the same direction at the one time – which is an amazing accomplishment with small children) and incidental shots of the family enjoying the day. These incidental shots really captured our children’s sense of fun and are a fantastic accompaniment to the formal shots. Everything was carried out in a calm, friendly and professional way. The pictures took only minutes to take but we will treasure them forever as mementos of a special family day.
